Week of May 30
Dear Parents, it is with mixed emotions that I write this last email. I am looking forward to summer vacation; however, I will miss spending time with your children. We have had a very busy year learning, growing, and building memories. I look forward to next year when I get to see our returning kiddos. Those of you who are moving, I wish you and your children the best. We will miss you.
This last week in Room 304:
We will work in tandem with Mrs. Barrett to write, create, and share their invented plant or animal projects. Please remember to help your child gather supplies to build/create their plant or animal. The supplies are due Tuesday.
Monday: rough draft with peer editing
Tuesday: create and make their animal with brought supplies
Wednesday: Oral Reports
Thursday: Oral Reports
Friday: games in homeroom - - early release 12:45
Classroom Library Thank you for helping your child find and locate my classroom books. I am still missing quite a few. I appreciate the extra effort you are taking to help locate them.
It is important that these are returned so my students next year may have the same reading opportunities.
STAAR: Students worked hard, and the two days went well. You will receive results by mail this summer. Please be sure to update any mailing address changes.
Classroom Party: We will have desserts and sign beach balls. 12:45-1:45 in the classroom. It would be helpful to send a permanent marker with your child for writing on the ball.
